Beyoncé is expected to move between 500,000 and 600,000 of her well–talked-about latest project, entitled Lemonade. That’s according to Hits Daily Double.
Sony Music said the superstar singer’s sixth album pushed 200,000 copies in its first day of availability.
Lemonade premiered April 23 as a free film special on HBO. The full album was made available for streaming exclusively on Tidal the same night before being added to iTunes.
Beyoncé’s previous self-titled album sold 617,000 copies in its first three days of release in 2013. It went on to sell over 2 million units. Each of Beyonce’s 5 solo LPs prior to Lemonade have hit #1 on the Billboard 200.
