Rapper Kanye West and wife Kim Kardashian have reportedly threatened to file a multimillion dollar lawsuit against a former security guard, Steve Stanulis, after he offered up some not-so-flattering comments on West in a recent interview, according to Us Weekly:
“The West family will no longer tolerate the spreading and selling of fake stories in a desperate, transparent and shameless attempt for publicity at their expense,” the rep tells Us in a statement. “As such, the Wests will explore all legal means at their disposal to silence this nonsense.”–Us
Stanulis — who first worked for Yeezy during New York Fashion Week in February and then for a few days leading up to the 2016 Met Gala on May 2, according to the New York Daily News — chatted with the NYDN and several other publications about the time he spent with West and Kardashian.
In his interview with the NYDN, Stanulis alleged that he was fired after the “Famous” hitmaker, 38, thought he was flirting with Kardashian, 35. The aspiring actor also claimed that West exhibited bizarre behavior during his time working for the mom and dad of North, 2, and Saint, 5 months.
Stanulis–an aspiring actor– was described as a temporary employee by sources close to the Kardashian clan. They claim he was never fired, nor was he a full-time employee.
In other Kimye news, West is reportedly preparing to file suit against the person who leaked a couple of sex tapes allegedly featuring West doing the damn thang with past exes.
West’s reps have promised swift legal action against the party that put the tapes out there for potential public consumption (and evaluation) but the whole thing has many music fans giving it the side eye: you might recall leaking a sex tape is how West’s wife, Kim Kardashian, rose to fame in the 2000s.
