Eccentric singer Lauryn Hill was 2 hours late for a weekend performance in Atlanta this past weekend, and fans weren’t having it. Especially after the singer only took the stage for 40 minutes after that.
According to reports, Lauryn Hill’s microphone was shut off nearly 40 minutes into her set in Atlanta because of Chastain Park Amphitheatre’s strict curfew.
Hill tried to continue singing but the park wasn’t having it–and neither were many of the fans, some of whom were loudly booing. A few fans complained that Hill’s late arrival made things worse, because if she’d been on time, they say, then maybe they could have enjoyed a 2 hour show.
Before leaving the park, hill took a few pictures with fans assigned autographs.
