Gainesville Woman Tells Cops She Was Assaulted By Man Who ‘Fantasized’ About Raping Her

A Gainesville woman told police she was sexually assaulted by a man who told her he’d fantasized’ about raping her, according to The Gainesville Sun.

According to reports, Roger Grey Lentz, 21, also of Gainesville, invited a woman to stay at his residence but later allegedly told the woman he wanted to have sex with her. The woman reportedly declined the offer but Lentz allegedly became angry and forced the woman into sex anyway.

The woman also allegedly told police that Lentz told her she was being ‘punished’ for ignoring him.

Lentz was arrested and booked into the Alachua County Jail overnight on a charge of sexual battery. His bond was set at $50,000.
