Rap icon and legend Snoop Dogg turns 46 years old today.
Snoop’s been riding with us–and we’ve been riding to him–for a long time: It was nearly 24 years ago that Snoop dropped his first of many successful records on music fans: Doggystyle would debut at #1 in November 1993, and to date has sold more than 11 million copies worldwide, helping to make Snoop one of the top-selling recording artists of all time.
In 2017, its hard to imagine what Hip Hop–and pop culture– would be had there never been a Snoop.
Snoop’s fans and fellow celebrities took to social media to celebrate the BDay of one of Hip Hop’s most celebrated statesmen with tributes and Happy Birthdays:

And just a few pecan seasons shy of the Big 5-0, Snoop is steady pushing. Currently, he co-hosts a cooking show with his friend, home-life maven Martha Stewart, who, after finding out Snoop was over the age of 40 yesterday, expressed utter shock, telling Snoop she thought he was 35.
Now, I don’t know whether Martha meant Snoop looks younger (that’s debatable) or not, but one thing is for sure: time is flying by, and if Snoop Dogg is damn near 50, then we are all getting old as hell real fast!
Happy Birthday Snoop Dogg! And hopefully, many, many more to come!
