Rap superstar Nelly is adamant that he didn’t rape anybody on his tour bus, and he’s saying he’s got proof to back that up.
Meanwhile, new details about the allegations against him, and the woman who is making them, have come out over the last 24 hours.
According to TMZ, the accuser is a 21 year old Seattle woman who claims she partied with Nelly after meeting him at an area nightclub. She claims she got tipsy and took an invitation from Nelly to chill at an after-party. She agreed, and says Nelly’s handlers then took her to the now infamous tour bus instead.
That’s when the woman alleges that Nelly invited her to have sex with him and she says she declined. She also claims he told her he wanted the sex to be unprotected and she says she then declined that too.
After that, the woman claims, Nelly forced her to have sex with him anyway. After that happened, she claims, he offered her some money but she said no.
She then claims that an unidentified female member of Nelly’s crew told her she had to go, then threw her off the bus and tossed $100 at her.
Nelly and his attorney, Scott Rosenblum, have called BS on the allegations.
In painting a picture of a desperate and promiscuous groupie who is trying to trap a superstar, Rosenblum told TMZ the woman is a fraud and they’ll prove it:
“It does not surprise me that she wanted to have her story publicized. That is playbook 101 of a person with an agenda and clearly she has one. The agenda is money, fame and notoriety.”
“We will be able to show by objective evidence and unbiased witnesses that she has zero credibility.”
The lawyer adds, “She’s a person who is making a dangerous, fraudulent allegation to accomplish her own goals.”
Nelly is a St. Louis-born, multi-platinum selling rapper most famous for his 2000 debut album, “Country Grammar”. For many years, he was romantically linked to studio singer Ashanti.
Nelly stars in the brand new E! Network reality TV series The Platinum Life with fiancee Shantel Jackson.
No word on whether this case will affect the upcoming nuptials.
