Tony Dungy has once again made an absolute fool of himself.
The Super Bowl-winning former head coach came to the defense of major Trump campaign benefactor and Houston Texans owner Bob McNair, who referred to NFL players who have opted to peacefully protest inequality and racism by kneeling during the national anthem as “inmates”.
I know Bob McNair. I know his heart. I don’t believe he meant it as viewing players as inmates but that’s how piercing this issue has become https://t.co/6rLhwd3U3Y

Tony Dungy’s opinions frequently don’t make sense, but this takes the cake.
Maybe Tony Dungy doesn’t recognize just how “piercing” it is to call free, mostly Black men “slaves” in the United States?
Or maybe he doesn’t care?
Needless to say, Twitter went ham on Dungy:
tony dungy’s ears are too damn big to act like what was said wasn’t what was said

Lost alot of respect for Tony Dungy. You being a puppet man. I see where Mike Vick got it from when he tell Colin to cut his hair. SMDH pic.twitter.com/GLnhkzNvZq

Bob McNair is the biggest trump supporter that alone should like Tony Dungy know where his heart is

Tony Dungy is a puppet at this point. A well spoken black who is used by rich whites to push their racist message.
