2 Students Shot In Class, And School District Took HOURS To Notify Parents

Two students at Banneker High School in Atlanta were shot when a gun a student was concealing accidentally went off.

A sign outside the school says no guns or weapons are allowed. But somebody clearly ignored that warning.

If all of that isn’t shocking enough, parents say Fulton county school district officials took hours to notify them of what had transpired.

Today, parents at the school are horrified. And pissed off. And they want answers.

School officials say they recovered a gun that was hidden in a kid’s bag, and they added that the child with the gun will face charges, but its unclear what those charges are.

One female student suffered an ankle injury, and another student was grazed. Both were struck by the same bullet.
