Miko Grimes Says Raiders Let Derek Carr Get Injured Because He Opposed Players Kneeling During National Anthem

Miko Grimes, the outspoken wife of frequently-traded NFL player Brent Grimes, told The Breakfast Club this morning that the Raiders’ offensive line allowed their quarterback, Derek Carr, to be injured because he was opposed to players on the team kneeling during the national anthem.

“(Carr) was against (the offensive line) protesting. And they had a fight in the locker room before that Monday night game with the Redskins. They were fighting in the locker room, and that’s the only all-black offensive line in the NFL is the Raiders.

After that drama, Grimes claims, a plan was hatched that would culminate in Carr ending up flat on his ass on the field.

“Derek Carr is a bible-thumper to the fullest. And so he was basically trying to force the players to read the bible before the game, and do all this stuff and they were like, ‘No, that’s you.’ And so he was so upset about it, when the whole offensive line said they were going to kneel, he was like, ‘No, you’re not kneeling. This is America, you’re going to stand for the flag.’ And they got in a fight in the locker room, so when they came out to play, they basically had a plan.”–Miko Grimes On The Breakfast Club

Carr suffered a back injury that made him miss one week of play–but that happened a full week after Grimes claims the plan was hatched.

Raiders players quickly took to social media to call BS on Mrs. Grimes story, with Marquette King saying Grimes was trying to “come up” and build a “following” with “fake news”.

Miko has been known to find herself in mess.

In 2015, the Mrs. was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after Miami cops arrested her after she was accused of entering a blocked-off area outside the Miami Dolphins stadium, then allegedly became combative once she was detained.

But Grimes says she was beaten by officers as retaliation for trash talking police on her now-defunct radio show.

Cops claimed she head-butted an officer during the highly publicized arrest.

Miko and her husband Brent appeared on the reality show, Baller Wives, earlier in the year, which is rumored to have been cancelled after just 6 episodes.

Miko also weighed in on whether she thinks Colin Kaepernick has been blackballed (Uh, DUH) and what led to her controversial radio show being dropped.
