UCLA Players Allowed To Return To U.S. Today

LiAngelo Ball, Cody Riley and Jalen Hill–the three UCLA basketball players who were arrested and later sentenced to hotel room confinement in China–will be allowed to return to the United States today, according to the Washington Post.

Ball and Company were arrested at a Luis Vuitton store in Hangzhou, China, and charged with shoplifting some pricey gear.

The players had come tot he country to participate in an overseas exhibition game that featured UCLA vs. Georgia Tech.

President Trump took credit for speaking to the Chinese President about securing the players’ release.
