Whoopi Goldberg Says No To Sexual Harassment Question, Interview Ends

Veteran actress and View co-host Whoopi Goldberg gave an unusual interview which ended promptly after a “hot topic” came up–namely, sexual harassment.

The normally extremely chatty Whoopi was asked by iHeartRadio host Domenick Nati if she had ever been sexually harassed in her many years in Hollywood. Goldberg first appeared in film in 1982.

Goldberg replied, “No, honey”. That’s when her publicist quickly chimed in, telling the interviewer to stick to the topic, which was supposed to be a line of sweaters Goldberg is reportedly trying to unload so her fans can dress like her.

The interview ended soon after.

Like many big names in Hollywood, Goldberg had been longtime friends with Harvey Weinstein, the now-disgraced Hollywood director/producer who has been accused of sexually assaulting dozens of women over the span of 4 decades.

That could have factored into her reluctance to discuss sexual harassment.

Now here comes the shade: “Ms. Celie” Goldberg has probably never been high on anybody’s sex assault list, even Weinstein, so she’s probably not lying when she says she was never harassed.
