Talented, yet kooky, and frequently unemployed rapper Azealia Banks is at it again. She has a lot of free time on her hands since her concerts aren’t in demand, so she decided to call out Joe Budden and Charlamagne Tha God for adding Nicki Mianj to 2017’s “Trash List” for Minaj’s perceived lack of musical success this year.
This is what Charlamagne said:
“I can’t remember the last time I saw a superstar of Nicki’s caliber put out three records at the same time—and by the way—the ‘No Frauds’ record had the iHeart stimulus package, meaning that you gon’ play every hour on the hour on every urban station throughout the country. She might’ve even been on the pop stations. She had Wayne and Drake on the record. That record didn’t go bruh.”–Charlamagne Tha God
Banks let loose most of her venom on Budden, who, like Banks, spent years struggling against the mighty tidal wave of musical obscurity. Banks said Budden was “rejected” by Jay-Z, and “gave up on the dream” after Jay-Z overlooked him.
Budden, as Banks pointed out, was able to be saved by reality TV, in this case, “Love And Hip Hop: New York”.
Banks, on the other hand, hasn’t been so lucky: no one seems to care enough about her to see her on TV at all.
Banks also took the time to stand up for Nicki Minaj, referring to “Cardio” Cardi B and “Remus” Remy Ma while claiming neither of the two could compare to Minaj.
Banks has famously feuded with both Cardi and Remy.
But Remy recently released what was purported to be a number of texts she received from Banks in which Banks admitted embarrassing personal details about herself, including that she allegedly needs vaginal cosmetic work– but can’t afford it.
