Grammys Shade: Bruno Mars Wins ALL of His Nominations; Jay-Z LOSES All of His

Singer Bruno Mars keeps winning, and took home 6 Grammys last night, winning in every category he was nominated for, including Record and Album Of The Year.

Meanwhile, Beyonce was tearing it up in a black gown that turned heads but she got dressed up only to watch as her hubby Jay-Z lost in every category he was nominated for–a total of 8 losses for 8 nominations.

Some of Jay-Z’s fans accused President Trump on social media of putting an embarrassing curse on Jay-Z that culminated in him losing a nearly record setting number of Grammys noms. Prior to the show, Jay-Z and Trump exchanged words in a widely covered but brief Twitter spat over Black unemployment.

Last year, both Rihanna and Kanye West were each nominated for 8 Grammys and lost.

Jay-Z has now tied their record.

The record for the most non-winning nominations in one night is held by Paul McCartney, who lost 9 in one night at the 1966 Grammys.

Rapper Kendrick Lamar took home 4 Grammys, including for Best Rap Performance, Best Rap/Sung Performance, and Best rap Album.
