Legendary Southern Baptist preacher and longtime adviser to multiple U.S. Presidents Billy Graham has died. He was 99 years old.
Graham is widely regarded as the most influential preacher in his lifetime. He was also a constant confidante of several presidents, from Harry S. Truman to Barack Obama and Donald Trump.
Hailing from Charlotte, North Carolina, Graham’s multi-decade-spanning Crusade reached people in virtually every corner of the globe, so its no surprise that tributes and condolences poured in for Graham from across the planet.
Graham’s wife, Ruth, predeceased him in 2007. Graham leaves to mourn 5 children from their 64 year marriage.
