The Cleveland Cavaliers rallied and stunned the hapless Boston Celtics, who thought they would be doing the Cupid Shuffle all the way to the NBA Finals.
Then along came LeBron James, who carried his rusty team to yet another Championship.
James and his teammates couldn’t contain their emotions after the win, which seemed unlikely after the Cavs fell 12 points behind at one point in the game.
But LeBron & Company won’t have much time to celebrate: they will now face the vaunted Golden State warriors, who took it to the Cavs in last year’s Championship, and the one in 2015 as well.
In fact, Golden State and Cleveland are appearing together in the Finals for the fourth year in a row–a record.
And the Cavs come in as statistical underdogs against the Warriors, who look primed and ready for battle after a tough test against the Houston Rockets.
The Finals commence on Thursday at Golden State.
