‘”Real Housewives” Shake-Up: Kenya Moore Gets The Boot In Favor of Eva Marcille?

Rumors have been swirling for weeks that former beauty queen and occasional actress Kenya Moore was ditched by producers of The Real Housewives Of Atlanta, prompting Kenya to deride those pesky “low-budget blogs” for disseminating what she termed “fake news” about her alleged axing from the show, and her pregnancy.

But according to Straight From The A, an Atlanta-based blog that closely covers the ‘Wives, Kenya isn’t exactly gone–but, she has been demoted to “friend” status which, in reality TV terms, means a much smaller check or, sometimes, no check at all.

Meanwhile, Eva could probably use the money since her man, Michael Sterling, lost his bid for Atlanta mayor last year, and the couple has a new kiddie.

Taking her place, reportedly, is former America’s Next Top Model winner Eva Marcille.

If true, which most say it is, then Eva pulled a major coup, since she only arrived on the show mid-season.

Kenya reportedly was on thin ice with producers anyway because she was reluctant to share her and her husband’s business.

Kenya also was filmed having a mini-meltdown during taping in New Orleans.

Eva has been silent on Twitter, except for posting this tweet:

Low key shade?

Word has it Eva was told her peach would be guaranteed in June, by the way, so thus the above-mentioned tweet?

It’s unclear how much Eva will earn from her elevated status but the money is undoubtedly welcome: her boo, Michael Sterling, lost his bid for Atlanta mayor last year, and the couple has a new baby.
