A Georgia woman who shopped at Atlanta’s trendy Phipps Plaza in Buckhead then drove more than 80 miles north of the shopping center had no idea that a group of men were tailing her all the way home–and that they would then rob her and her family at gunpoint in her driveway.
Its a shocking crime. Brittany McEntire says the terrifying incident happened three weeks ago. She told Channel 2 Action News that she and her family feared for her life; her mother, husband and three children were also in the driveway. She said the whole event took less than a minute.
“I could’ve lost my whole family if they had started shooting,” McEntire told a station reporter.
The bandits took her two Louis Vuitton diaper bags and demanded all of her jewelry, including a cherished ring given to her by her late father.
Mrs. McEntire bravely decided to come forward in order to warn other would-be victims of the brazen and dangerous robbers.
Police have also cautioned that the robbers are likely to do it again.
