A couple has been charged with smoking crack and neglecting their child, according to The Gainesville Sun.

That is, if they are convicted of charges related to accusations that they smoked crack in the company of their 4 year old son.

Timothy McCubbin, 40, and Cassandra Pasquale, 28, were charged with possession of drug equipment and child neglect after Alachua County deputies say they were found passed out in a black Saturn.

The child was reportedly covered with old food, insect bites, and the car seat he was stripped into had maggots in it.

Both parents were booked into the Alachua jail and tagged with $55,000 bail each.

No word on what action was taken, if any, by Children and Family Services.
