Gainesville Man Leads Cops On A Low Speed Chase In A John Deere Buggy

A 28 year old Gainesville man was charged with fleeing and grand theft after police say he led them on a low speed chase. His getaway ride? A John Deere utility buggy, according to The Gainesville Sun.

An officer saw Corey Leduc sitting in the utility cart and told him to stop. That’s when Leduc reportedly punched it, leading police on a chase that ended when the buggy rolled over.

Leduc was also charged with grand theft auto, resisting an officer. His bail was set at $12,500.
