Rapper Waka Flocka hasn’t been tearing up the charts lately, but his fans–and, evidently, the Tax Man haven’t forgotten him. According to The Blast, the “Hard In The Paint” rapper owes the State of Georgia $55,000 in back tax money.
The Blast reports that Flocka originally only owed the state $27,000 from a 2012 tax bill. Left unpaid, that amount quickly ballooned to $55K in 2018.
The state has imposed a lien and could garner Flocka’s pay or come after his assets if he doesn’t fork over the cash.
Its unclear if he’s made any arrangements to take care of the outstanding balance.
