Young Thug Indicted On Drug, Gun Charges

Atlanta rapper Young Thug has been indicted on drug charges in suburban Atlanta related to an arrest from 2017, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The artist, whose legal name is Jeffery Lamar Williams, is charged in the DeKalb County case along with co-defendants Cedric Jones and rapper Sergio “Gunna” Kitchens, according to online court records. Williams’ eight felony charges involve various kinds of drugs, records show.

An arraignment date in Dekalb County Court is set for October 9.
