Last year, Cardi became the first solo female rapper to hit #1 on the Hot 100 chart since Lauryn Hill in 1998. She was also the first female rapper to have more than one Hot 100 chart topper. Cardi achieved that milestone when “I Like It” climbed to the summit in July.
