Space Jam Turns 22

Just to remind you of how old you’re getting, or how young you are, ’90s box office smash ‘Space Jam’ hit theaters 22 years ago today.

The partially animated film starred basketball legend Michael Jordan and veteran actor Bill Murray alongside Bugs Bunny and the Looney Tunes cast.

The movie grossed $230.4 million.

The movie’s soundtrack also enjoyed success, giving up hits such as R. Kelly’s “I Believe I Can Fly”; Seal’s “Fly Like An Eagle”; and Monica’s “For You I Will”.

Jacksonville’s Quad City DJ’s also scored a timeless classic with the film’s title track.
