Fans Are Worried About TV Talk Queen Wendy Williams’ Health

Daytime diva Wendy Williams’ health has fans of the popular TV host worried. Last week, Williams hosted her show, The Wendy Williams Show, almost exclusively from her big comfy-looking chair, something many fans pointed out was a departure for the affable Williams, who normally sets aside an entire segment of her show dedicated to taking questions, and offering answers–while standing–among the show’s in-studio guests.

Williams pointedly addressed the social media buzz by saying she decided to sit down while hosting her show “because I can”.

But that pronouncement didn’t stop blogs and fans from gossiping, and speculating.

Wendy previously shared with viewers her Graves Disease diagnosis. Graves is an immune system disorder that results in the overproduction of thyroid hormones (hyperthyroidism) with symptoms that include bulging eyes (Graves’ ophthalmopathy), tremor of hands and or fingers, anxitey and fatigue among other symptoms.

The disease is serious and can become debilitating.

Williams, 54, hosted her show this week wearing an arm sling, only disclosing that her shoulder is fractured. That sparked even more concern from some of Wendy’s legion of die-hard who are concerned that Wendy’s condition could be more serious than she is letting on.

Wendy has been forthright with fans about her past struggles with drug addiction and her physical health. She has also been candid about cosmetic enhancements she’s undergone.

After spending several years as a controversial, chart-topping radio personality, Wendy segued into TV and took her show to the top of the ratings chart.

Fans are hoping Wendy comes back stronger, healthier and messier after she takes a recently announced hiatus.

Get well soon Wendy.
