3 End Up Shot After Performers Pull Pistols During Party At A Warehouse Studio

A dilapidated warehouse in northwest Atlanta that is sometimes used as a recording studio was the location of a harrowing scene Saturday night: a dispute that reportedly started between two performers ended up in dozens of rounds being exchanged, and three women being hit by gunfire, when the musicians reportedly turned into gunslingers.

A 17-year-old was grazed by a bullet on her foot, and an 18-year-old was shot in the foot.

A third woman, 26, was shot in the hip. Police said she was found in the 700 block of Lillian Avenue, where she ran to escape the gunfire.–WSB-TV

All three victims are expected to be alright.

WSB-TV reports that 14 and 15 year old kids were seen and heard running around the nearby neighborhood, screaming and banging on doors for help as shots rang out.

One witness said it sounded like hundreds of shots being fired. Some concertgoers told the news station they were shocked they made it out of the venue alive.

The promoter responsible for the event told WSB that he hired 10 security officers to guard the event.

No suspects were arrested. Police are investigating the incident.
