Talk show queen Wendy Williams’ self-named, wildly popular show may be entering its final season on TV, according to rumor, which has either Fox or Wendy pulling the plug on the show due to Wendy’s health woes or personal family drama or both.
Wendy has not publicly stated she wants to end her show.
But if things go sideways, she may have another TV gig in the waiting: The Real Housewives Of New Jersey. That is, if one cast-mate has anything to say about it.
“I heard about that [report],”Jennifer Aydin told us while dining at Coco J’adore. “She would bring diversity, an opinion and [she’s] not afraid to say what’s on her mind. It would be refreshing.”–PageSix
Were she to make the transition, Wendy would be the only Black woman on a lily White cast that many say has long lacked color.
Wendy has repeatedly said she is a big fan of the New Jersey wives. But she may be joining the group as a husband-less cast-mate, since she and baby daddy Kevin Hunter are in the throes of divorce court.
But, according to the Daily Mail, the Hunters may be on the mend, business-wise at least, merely months after Kevin publicly humiliated Wendy by siring a kiddie with a side chick with allegedly thinning edges who was reportedly luxuriating the day away in fancy suburban housing while pushing a Bentley paid for by Wendy.
Though their 22-year marriage ended in infidelity and acrimony, a source told DailyMail.com the two still make a ‘solid team’, having built a successful business, which they are now trying to preserve with a carefully negotiated divorce deal.
Wendy made the transition to national TV after years on radio, where she grew a big name by outing allegedly closeted rappers.
Her TV show has consistently ranked among the most watched on television throughout its decade-long run.
