Clip Featuring Actor Jason Momoa Joking That He Liked Role On ‘Game Of Thrones’ Because He Was Allowed To “Rape Beautiful Women” Causes Twitter Firestorm

Actor Jason Momoa once said he enjoyed working on HBO’s ‘Game Of Thrones’ television show because he was “allowed to rape beautiful women”.

Momoa was sitting on a panel with other actors who laughed nervously at the tacky remark.

But social media users weren’t laughing, and reaction to the clip on social media was immediate.

The clip was originally recorded in 2011–before sex assault scandals rocked Hollywood. In recent days, embattled Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein and troubled actor Ben Affleck’s mis-treatment of women have gone public.

Unfortunately for Momoa, with the circulation of this clip, he’s now being lumped in with people like those two.

Momoa has been married to former ‘Cosby Show’ actress Lisa Bonet since 2007. The couple has two children. Momoa is stepfather to Lisa’s daughter, actress Zoe Kravitz.
