Camille Cosby Links Her Husband’s Conviction With Infamous Murder Of Emmett Till

Camille Cosby didn’t have a lot to say publicly as the number of women claiming her husband drugged and sexually assaulted them piled up, but now that he’s a convicted sex offender, and staring at an unlikely but nevertheless nasty bid in the chain gang, she’s saying he was railroaded.

The one-time beloved comedian and TV dad was convicted last week of sexually assaulting a woman in 2004. He faces up to 30 years in prison for the charges. But Camille, Bill’s wife of more than 53 years, is not cool with that and is now blaming the “frenzied media”, and others, for “demonizing” her man.

She also called for an investigation into the district attorney who secured convictions last week on Bill.

Its unclear if anybody is really paying any attention to Camille’s rants, but she definitely deserved an early-morning side eye for linking her husband’s sex crimes with the infamously heinous, 1955 lynching murder of Emmett Till in segregated Mississippi.

Are the media now the people’s judges and juries? Since when are all accusers truthful? History disproves that…for example, Emmett Till’s accuser immediately comes to mind. In 1955, she testified before a jury of white men in a Mississippi courtroom that a 14-year-old African American boy had sexually assaulted her, only to later admit several decades later in 2008 that her testimony was false. Should Camille have about 5 or 6 seats?

Emmett Till, a 14 year old Chicago boy visiting family in racist, rural Mississippi, was falsely accused of whistling at a White woman in 1955. He was subsequently lynched by racist Whites, who were never convicted of the crime.

On the other hand, Bill admitted in court depositions to using quaaludes to drug women he intended to have sex with.

In the 2000s, right wingers praised Cosby for telling Black men and boys to “pull their pants up”. Who knew then that it was Bill himself who was spending his time with his own pants down?
