Former Suburban Atlanta Home Of R. Kelly Up For Rent At $2,400 Per Month

One of the suburban Atlanta homes previously occupied by now-besieged singer R. Kelly is now up for rent, according to

Lawdy, if those walls could talk.

This 2,348-square-foot, 4 bedroom, 2 and a half bathroom home is tucked away in a quiet cul de sac in Johns Creek, a suburb 25 miles north of downtown Atlanta, and is one of two homes previously rented by Kelly; the other home, a larger, 9,000 square foot, palatial estate sitting on more than 2 acres of land, is located 2 miles away from this home. That was reportedly Kelly’s primary residence, including the homefront for alleged festivities related to the alleged sex cult the once celebrated swooner allegedly oversaw.

According to “survivors” of the alleged cult who have since come forward in the aftermath of Kelly’s mounting legal dilemmas, the home was basically a fortress of evil where coming and going was severely restricted and permission required from Kelly for the all-female detainees to do something as trivial as get a drink of juice from the kitchen.

The smaller home, which sits on Saint Devon Xing, which Kelly rented for $3,000 per month, was also infamously burglarized by a former Kelly associate who reportedly sold off any and everything that could be loaded onto a U-Haul truck.

That associate, Alphonso Walker, turned himself in to authorities after the thefts. Walker reportedly sold the contents of both homes–replete with irreplaceable pieces and luxury items–at the bargain basement price of $6,000 per room of goods.

Meanwhile, Kelly’s problems continue to snowball. Sexual allegations aren’t going anywhere, and neither are his child support obligations, and it seems not a month goes by without a new victim of his alleged cult making the news. In a matter of years, the singer widely known for hits that include “Your Body Is Calling Me”, is now facing calls for authorities to put the singer away for a long time.

Kelly’s former home now rents for $2,400 per month with an equal amount deposit.

Back in 2017, Kelly reportedly defaulted on his rent payments, and the landlords sued to evict the singer, who ultimately left on his own.

According to reps for the landlord, potential renters must pass a mandatory background check.
