Tyler Perry Doles Out $16K A Month To House Fallen Preacher: report

Billionaire movie mogul Tyler Perry is a friend in need and in deed, and has shelved out nearly $100,000 to house his homie, disgraced Hillsong pastor Carl Lentz, so that the preacher and his family can enjoy the comforts of a luxurious Los Angeles mansion during a time of stress and scandal, according to The UK Sun:

Multiple sources revealed to The Sun that Tyler, 51, shelled out money up front to cover a six-month lease to house the Lentz family in the posh $4million property.

The 5,000-square-foot, five bedroom pad costs $16,000 a month and is just steps from the ocean in Manhattan Beach

Lentz fell from grace after it was revealed that he had been unfaithful to his wife–and, according to reports, repeatedly.

Also according to reports, people affiliated with the church had known “for years” that Lentz had been getting around.

The Hillsong church cut ties with its troubled pastor after the scandal went viral–and gave his wife, Laura, who served as co-pastor, the boot too.

The couple then fled their New York homestead for greener pastures in pricey L.A.. They are lucky to have big money friends like Perry, who was there at a time of distress when Lentz could no longer rely on another wealthy pal, former BFF Justin Bieber, who reportedly shunned the horny pastor after the scandal became too much to ignore.

Perry reportedly is dedicating attention to his pal in the form of emotional support, on top of the $96,000 in rent he’s helped Lenz with.

Lentz, according to People magazine, is also relying on outpatient treatment for help with mental health struggles at a facility which specializes in “depression, anxiety, and pastoral burnout”.
